Accidental Fortune

The Norfolk band, Accidental Fortune - sitting against a beige brick wall.

“Nurse” is a raw and powerful track brought to life entirely with live instruments tracked here at Woodworks. There’s a cinematic weight to it with incredible dynamic shifts throughout.

From the thick, expressive guitars to the roomy drums, this one really showcases what’s possible at the studio.

Oliver Prentice

“Autumn Leaf” by Oliver Prentice is a rich & folky track, blending acoustic warmth with subtle layers of ambient production.

We tracked it at Woodworks,  giving us the space to experiment and really add depth to the track. My favourite moment is the pre-chorus, the vocal harmonies really bring out the emotion without overwhelming the arrangement.

Nick Mobin

Nick Mobin’s “Two Ways” is a beautiful track that blends mellow electronic textures with warm organic instrumentation.

We recorded this one late into 2024 here at Woodworks, with a lot of effort put into getting the right balance between clarity and character. It’s a great idea of what I aim to do at the studio: helping artists tell their story without losing what makes their sound personal. Well worth a listen!

Anu Azreal

“Birds” is a rich and slow burning piece from Anu that patiently builds, layering delicate textures with haunting vocals.

We focussed mainly on capturing Anu’s vocals, preserving a sense of vulnerability and distance, whilst still sitting clearly in the mix. It was a pleasure working on this one & is a great example of how subtle production choices can really shape the overall atmosphere.
